Mike Dart is a Basketry Artist from Stilwell, OK. A citizen of the Cherokee Nation he resides in the Fairfield Community on the Cherokee Nation Reservation.
Dart began weaving when he was 16 years old, and has dedicated over half of his life to his art form. In 2027 he was designated a Cherokee National Treasure for his participation in the promotion and preservation of Cherokee Basketry. He participates in Art shows and Markets across the United States.
